Privacy Notice

I, Mariane Steffen, am the operator of this website and therefore responsible for the collection, processing and use of personal data. I am subject to Swiss data protection law in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (DSG) and comply with the guidelines of the Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO) of the European Union. I attach great importance to the protection and proper handling of your personal data and collect, process and use them exclusively in accordance with the principles described below and in compliance with the applicable data protection laws.

You can visit my website without leaving any personal details. If a service is used via my website, personal data may be collected and processed. In the following I explain which data I collect, how they are used by me and which rights you have against me with regard to the use of your data.

1) Your personal data
Personal data is all information that refers to a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your address, your e-mail address or your complete IP address.

Your personal data will be used for the purpose of processing my services offered or for the contractual relationship existing with you.
- I need your name in order to know who my contractual partner is, i.e. to whom I provide and invoice my services.
- I need your contact data (e-mail address and telephone number) in order to communicate with you.

2) Legal basis
My place of business is in Switzerland and therefore I am primarily subject to the Federal Data Protection Act (DSG) when dealing with personal data, in particular of persons residing in Switzerland. Furthermore, the Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO) of the EU serves as a legal basis for the handling of personal data of citizens of the European Union.

3) Collection, processing and use of personal data
a) When visiting my website
You can visit my website without revealing your identity. When you visit my website, the servers temporarily store each access in a log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until automatic deletion: anonymised IP address, date and time of access, name and URL of the accessed file, website from which access is made, operating system of your computer, browser used, name of your Internet access provider.

This data is collected and processed for the purpose of enabling the use of my website (establishing a connection), ensuring system security on a permanent basis, enabling the technical administration of the network infrastructure and the optimisation of my website, as well as for internal statistical purposes.

I also use cookies and tracking tools when visiting my website. Explanations can be found in the corresponding sections of this data protection declaration.

b) Contact form
If you contact me via the contact form provided on my website, it is necessary to state the title, full name, telephone number and a valid e-mail address. Which further personal data is collected, results from the further data, which you communicate to me by means of the contact form. If you contact me by e-mail or via a contact form, the personal data you provide will be stored automatically. I use these data for the treatment of your inquiry and the establishment of contact. It can be passed on to third parties who are also involved in the provision of services on my behalf.

c) Cookies
I use cookies on my website. These are small text files that are stored permanently or temporarily on the hard drive of your computer when you visit my website. These cookies do not damage the hard disk of your computer nor do they contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

The purpose of these cookies is in particular the statistical evaluation of the use of my website. Data collected through the setting of cookies is pseudonymised by technical precautions. It is no longer possible to assign the data to the calling user. The data will not be saved or linked together with other personal data.

You can deactivate the cookies on my website completely or partially in your browser at any time. If cookies are deactivated, you may no longer be able to use all the functions of my website.

d) Google AdWords
On my website, I use the online web program "Google AdWords", a service of Google Inc. based in the USA, and the possibility to convert my data contained in this program. When you access my site through a Google ad, Google AdWords places a conversion cookie in your browser that allows me to generate statistics about the use of my site. This conversion cookie loses its validity after 90 days at the latest and is not used to identify the user.

Further information on conversion tracking, in particular how you can prevent the collection of data by the cookie set by Google, can be found at the following link: http://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

You can deactivate the setting of cookies by my website completely or partially in your browser at any time. If cookies are deactivated, all functions of my website may no longer be available to you.

e) Google Analytics
On my website I use "Google Analytics", a web analysis service of Google Inc. based in the USA. Google Analytics also uses the cookies already described. The resulting information about your use of the website (browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (previously visited website), anonymous IP address and time of the server request) are transmitted to Google servers and stored there. No conclusions about your person can be made on the basis of this stored data. If necessary, this information will be transferred to third parties if they process the data on behalf of Google.

Under no circumstances will the IP address be associated with other data relating to the user. For Google Analytics, I use an add-on with which the IP address of the Internet connection is shortened and anonymised by Google.

I also use remarketing lists from Google Analytics. With remarketing lists, visitors to my website can be addressed again through targeted advertising on the pages of the Google partner network and the Google search network. The insertion of the advertisement is also carried out by cookies.

The data collected is also used to create user profiles using pseudonyms. These serve the analysis of the visitor behavior and are evaluated for the improvement and organization meeting demand of my offer. The pseudonymised user profiles are not combined with personal data of the bearer.

You can object to the collection by Google Analytics at any time. To do this, you must download and install a browser add-on under the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. This browser add-on informs Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data and information on visits to Internet pages may be transmitted to Google Analytics. If the browser add-on is uninstalled or deactivated once, it is possible to reinstall or reactivate it.

As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent Google Analytics from capturing data by clicking on this link (note: the click does not generate any visible action) and thus set an opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for my website. It will be stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must also reset the opt-out cookie.

You can find more information about data protection at Google under the following link: https://www.google.com/intl/de_DE/analytics/learn/privacy.html

4) Revocation of Consents, Information & Authorization
According to the Federal Data Protection Act (DSG), you have the right to free information about your stored data (Art. 8 DSG) and the right to correction (Art. 5 para. 2 DSG). In addition, you may request that your data be deleted insofar as it is no longer required for the execution of the contract. You can also request that your data be blocked. Requests for information and requests to block or delete data can be sent to me in writing (by post, by e-mail or via my contact form).

Citizens of the European Union are entitled to all rights under the DSGVO. These are by name:
- Right to confirmation
- Right of access
- Right to rectification
- Right to deletion (right to be forgotten)
- Right to limitation of processing
- Right to data transferability
